Judith Celebrates Her 70th Birthday In Rehab
Judith today achieved another milestone in her incredible career – turning 70!
She chose the day to face the media for the first time since being admitted to Epworth Hospital on May 14, having suffered a cerebral haemmorhage after The Seekers’ concert at Hamer Hall in Melbourne that evening.
Judith was joined by fellow Seekers Athol Guy and Keith Potger, and Epworth’s Professor John Olver, at the conference.
Judith answered questions about her illness and subsequent rehabilitation during the 15-minute conference, and then returned to her ward to celebrate her birthday with family and friends.
She couldn’t resist two slices of egg-free vegan Hummingbird cake emblazoned with “Happy 70th Birthday, Judith.”
The following links will reveal press coverage and television footage of the media conference.
